  David Watson A former Ayr resident, David Watson of Peterborough passed away on Monday, March 2nd. He was in his 87th year. Born in Winnipeg on December 21, 1900, he was a son of the late Archie Gibb Watson and Margaret Stevenson. He came to Ayr with his parents as a youngster and received his schooling here. Mr. Watson joined the Bank of Commerce in Ayr; entered private business in Lindsay in 1945; joined the department of highways as an accountant in 1950 and retired in 1960. Predeceased by his wife, the former Mildred Tretheway in 1971. He is survived by one son Douglas of Barrie. Funeral service is being held (today) in Peterborough. Interment in Ayr Cemetery.
