  Mrs. J. Theodore Schmidt Mrs. J. Theodore Schmidt of 143 Roger St., Waterloo, formerly of St. Jacobs, died Friday at K-W Hospital after a brief illness. She was 89. Born in Waterloo, Mar. 31, 1879, she was the former Ellanora Steen, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. George Steen. For many years she lived in St. Jacobs, where she was a member of St. James' Lutheran Church and the Lutheran Church Women. Her husband died in October. 1948. A daughter, Dora, four brothers, and three sisters also predeceased her. Surviving are two sons. Egbert H. of St. Jacobs and Frederick W. of Buffalo; two daughters, Mrs. Milton (Gertrude) Ritter of Waterloo, with whom she lived for the past 13 years. and Mrs. Herbert (Ethel) Gastmeier of Stratford; one sister, Mrs. Herman (Elizabeth) Schallhorn of Kitchener: 14 grandchildren and 11 great- grandchildren. The body will be at the Ratz- Bechtel Funeral Home until Monday at 11 a.m. when removal will be made to St. James' Church, St. Jacobs, for a funeral service at 3 p.m. Rev.
