  Fatal Auto Accident Evelyn Krogman, three year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Krogman, of Kitchener, died at the Kitchener-Waterloo Hospital on Saturday night from injuries received in an auto accident the previous evening on Bleam's Road, about two miles east of New Hamburg. Mr. Krogman and his two small daughters were returning to Kitchener about 8 o'clock, when his upset in turning out for a rig coming from the opposite direction. The accident victims were brought back to town by another car coming along and a doctor was summoned and first aid given. It was found that the little girl had sustained fractured skull and she was rushed to Kitchener-Waterloo Hospital, where she passed away. Mr. Krogman and his other daughter, Ruth, escaped with minor bruises. Mr. Krogman, going at a moderate speed, turned his car into the ditch to avoid a collision with the horse and buggy, which he did not see in time as it bore no light. The driver of the horse did not stop and the authorities are investigating the matter. The funeral of the little girl was held on Monday afternoon. New Hamburg Independent Oct 28 1927 pg 6
