      Passed away on Sunday, Nov. 1, 1987, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, Fred Carrotte, of 44 Gordon St., Cambridge, in his 74th year. Beloved husband of Ann Ableson. Also survived by five grandchilden, one great-grandchild and three step-daughters and their husbands, Sue and Bob Yam, Peg and Neil Wise and Marion and Stuart Oxley. Dear uncle to several nieces and nephews. Mr. Carrotte was predeceased by his first wife, Florence Harley; a son, Gary and four sisters. Mr. Carrotte was a retired sales representative with R. & W. Donnelly Real Estate Inc. and was formerly in hotel business, in Kitchener, Paisley and Timmins. A member of the K-W Naval Association, a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 121 Cambridge, a member of the Real Estate Board of Cambridge and was well known in the area, as a piano player. Resting at Coutts & Son Funeral Home, 98 St. Andrews St., Cambridge, where the family will receive friends on Tuesday evening (tonight), from 7-9 p.m. Funeral and committal services will be held from the funeral home chapel, on Wednesday, Nov. 4, at 2 p.m., with Rev. R. Fretwell officiating. Interment Mount View cemetery.
