  WAGLER, Freida Emma (Nafziger) Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Wednesday, October 28, 2009 at St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener. Freida was a 24 year resident of Vesper Springs, Baden. She was born 87 years ago in Mornington Township a daughter of the late Moses and Ella (Schwartzentruber) Nafziger. Freida was a member of Steinmann Mennonite Church, Baden where she attended the Sewing Circle. A friendly, warm and thankful lady, Freida enjoyed people, singing and gardening and was especially grateful for the grandchildren and great-grand- children that God had given her. Beloved wife of John Nafziger (1956) and Clayton Wagler (1985). Loving mother of Carol and Gordon Roth of New Hamburg. Dear grandmother and great-grandmother of Mike and Gail Roth of Tavistock and their children Anna-Maria, Victoria, and Clayton, Rachelle and Rob McLean of New Hamburg and their children Anders, Maren, Katie, Emily and Hannah. Dear sister of Vera and Mahlon Zehr of Milverton, Allan and Esther Nafziger of Brunner, Ellen and Irvin Jantzi of Wellesley. Also remembered by sisters-in-law Violet Ruby of Baden, Miriam Nafziger of Tavistock and Edith Nafziger of Milverton. Freida was a special aunt to her many nieces and nephews. Freida was predeceased by her dear daughters Joyce, Sandra and Kathy, sisters Clara and Val Gerber, Amanda and Norman Erb, Elizabeth and Wilfred Schultz, brothers-in-law Irven Nafziger, Melvin Nafziger, David Nafziger, Elmer and Selena Wagler, Elmina and Ben Ruby and Orlando Ruby. Friends and relatives may call at Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 291 Huron St., New Hamburg on Friday (today) from 7-9 p.m. and again Saturday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A public committal service will be held on Sunday November 1, 2009 at 1:30 p.m. at Mornington Amish Mennonite Cemetery, Poole West followed by a Memorial Service at Steinmann Mennonite Church at 3:00 p.m. with Pastors Myrna Miller-Dyck and Steve Drudge officiating. As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to Steinmann Mennonite Church Building Fund, Heart and Stroke Foundation or the charity of choice.
