    • George Parsons Bell was a school teacher before receiving his medical degree from New York's Bellvue Hospital Medical College in 1886.He was an allopathic doctor who practiced in Buffalo, NY, Pittsburgh, PA, Chicopee, MA and Tigerton, WI before moving permanently to Kansas. He spent the rest of his life in Kansas, operating a homeopathic hospital and raising, with his wife Mary Bowman Reid Bell, his family of four daughters and one son. He is supposedly buried in Exeter, Tulare County, California though his grave has not yet been located.
