    • HEUBACH, Gerine Gladys Peacefully on Monday, July 13, 2009 at K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital in her 95th year. Surviving is her son, David and his companion JoAnne Kocher; her grandsons, Thomas of Vancouver and Robert and his companion Heather Thomas of Kitchener. Gerine was a retired employee of Cluett-Peabody (Arrow Shirts). In her younger years she was very active at St. Matthew's Lutheran Church serving as a Sunday school teacher and later as the co-ordinator of the Sunday school. She is predeceased by her husband, George, her parents, Herbert and Laura Bechtel, sister, Evelyn, Mabel and Priscilla and her brother, Clarence. She is survived by her sister, Almeda -Reeve; sister-in-law, Doris Bechtel, brother-in-law, Edward Heubach. Special thanks to the nursing staff of the 6D south and to the staff of The Westmount LTC Facility who provided excellent eare for the last three years. At Gerine's request cremation has taken place. There will be no funeral home visitation. A memorial service for family and friends to celefbrate Gerine's life will be held in the chapel at St. Matthew's Lutheran Church (54 Benton Street, Kitchener) on Friday, July 17, 2009 at 2 p.m. with Rev David Malina officiating. In her memory, donations to St. Matthew's Lutheran Church Foundation or the charity of your choice would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
