  WILFONG, Gilbert R. -- Of 31 Wilfong Drive, Kitchener, at South Waterloo Memorial Hospital, Cambridge, Saturday, September 30, 1978, Gilbert R. Wilfong, beloved husband of the late Daisy Sapsworth, dear father of Gilbert, Douglas, John and Mrs. Gwen Kauk of Kitchener, in his 84th year Mr. Wilfong was born and lived all his life in Doon; self-employed in service station maintenance for a great number of years. A member of the Doon Presbyterian Church; served as an elder for many years. Survived by two brothers Reginald and Dr. James Wilfong Moose Jaw, Sask., and three sisters, Mrs. George (Annie) Ayers and Mrs. Wesley (Nellie) Spaetzel, of Kitchener, Mrs. Emmerson (Marguerite) Stange of Floradale and Mrs. Russel (Doris) Tilt of Richmond Hill; 15 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by one brother, two sisters and one grandchild. Resting at the Barthel-Stager Funeral Home, 566 Wueenston Rd., Cambridge(P) for funeral service in the chapel Monday at 2 p.m. Interment in Doon Cemetery.
