    • Grant David Frederick: Grant David Frederick - 68, of Perkasie, PA died on Saturday, April 5, 2014 at Majestic Oaks Nursing and Rehabilitative Center in Warminster, PA.

      He was the loving husband of Deborah Ann Overholt. Grant was born in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada to the late Ernest & Violet (Meyer) Frederick.

      He was formerly employed by a Canadian oil company and later worked for MAX

      Canada Insurance Company, until retiring in 2007. Grant was an active member of Bally Mennonite Church where he assisted the audio ministry, taught Adult Sunday School classes and was a member of a small group. He also organized creation of a pond in God's Acre, the Bally Mennonite Church's Community Garden and the placement of the congregation's outdoor Peace pole.

      Grant was formerly a member of Sterling Avenue Mennonite Church in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada where he had served on the Deacon Board, taught Adult Sunday School classes for 20 years and was part of the video and audio ministry of the congregation. He was an avid Toronto-Maple Leaf Hockey fan, a former golfer in his earlier years and enjoyed vegetable & flower gardening.

      In addition to his wife, Grant is survived by a daughter, Jennifer Frederick of Canada; a sister, Joan Jukich & husband, Phil of Langdon, AB, Canada; a sister-in-law, Rowena Dise & husband, Ronald of Perkasie, PA; two brother-in-laws, David Overholt & wife, Patsy of Perkasie, PA and Dean Overholt & wife, Kathy of Perkasie, PA.

      Viewings will be held at Bally Mennonite Church on Wednesday, April 9, 2014 from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm and on Thursday, April 10, 2014 from 10:00 am - 11:00 am.

      A funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 10, 2014 at 11:00 am at Bally Mennonite Church, 1481 Route 100, P.O. Box 194, Bally, Pennsylvania 19503.

      In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions for ALS research may be made to: Hershey Medical Center c/o University Development, P.O. Box 852, Hershey, PA 17033.
