      Of 585 Dolph St. N., Cambridge (P), on Sunday, June 15, 1980, in his 65th year, at the Cambridge Memorial Hospital, Harold G. (Barney) Bernhardt, beloved husband of Doris Bird. Dear father of William of Cambridge. Also survived by one brother, Louis and two sisters, Ruth (Mrs. Clinton Dale) and Isabel (Mrs. Stan DeBrusk) of Cambridge. Predeceased by one brother, Irvin and two sisters, Edna and Rose. Mr. Bernhardt was born and lived all his life in Preston. He was the custodian for the Preston and Hespeler Day Care Centre. A member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church. Veteran of the Second World War, serving in the Canadian Army, a member of the Preston Royal Canadian Legion Branch 126. Resting at the Barthel-Stager Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Rd., Cambridge, for funeral services, Tuesday, at 2 p.m. Interment in Park Lawn cemetery.
