    • Harry Harshuk

      GALT, Harry Harshuk, a native of Russia, died Monday, in South Waterloo Hospital. He was 73. Born Sept. 14, 1897, Mr. Harshuk came to Canada in 1913. He lived first in Kitchener and then moved to 36 Pollack St., Galt. Until his retirement in 1967, he had worked for 39 years as a machinist and moulder with Galt Malleable Iron Ltd. He was predeceased by his wife, the former Amelia Matras, on July 30, 1951. Mr. Harshuk is survived by one son Alexander of West Springfield, Mass. and two daughters, Sylvia Harshuk and Mary Harshuk, both of Galt. The body is at the Coutts and Son Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends, on Wednesday, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be at the chapel of the funeral home, Thursday, at 2 p.m., followed by interment in Mount View cemetery, Galt.
