    • Mrs. Pieter KlaassenPRESTON. Oct. 11, A Preston resident for the past 35 years. Mrs. Pieter Conrad Klaassen, 80, died at the home of her son, Albert Klaassen, 924 Vine Street. Preston, yesterday. Mrs. Klaassen, the former Huibertje Van der Burgh, had been ailing for the past two years and seriously ill for the past week. Born in Amsterdam, Holland, the deceased came to Canada in 1915, with her husband, coming directly to Preston andresiding here since that time. Her husband predeceasedher three years ago, last April. Mrs. Klaassen, who had been making her home with her son, Albert, was a member of the Church of the Latter Day Saints. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. George Grayson (Margaret), of Salt Lake City, Utah; Mrs. William Reynolds, (Dinah), of Galt; three sons, Albert of Preston, Rev. John Klaassen of Alburquerque, New Mexico and Peter of Preston. Seventeen grandchildren and one great-grandchild also survive. Three sisters also survive in the Old Country, The body is at the Stager-Pass Funeral Home, from where the funeral willbe held tomorrow at 2 p.m., with Elder Eldon Willis of Latter Day Saints, Kitchener, officiating. Interment will be in the Preston Cemetery.
