  J. MAHLON ZURBRIGG A former resident of New Hamburg and London, J. Mahlon Zurbrigg, 86, passed away March 27 at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Samuel (Hope) Sivertz, New Haven, Connecticut. Prior to 1929 when he operated a hospital supply firm in London, the late Mr. Zurbrigg taught modern languages in secondary schools at Galt, Parkhill, Glencoe and Winchester. Surviving besides his daughter, Hope, a son, C. Marton of London; a sister. Miss M. Tusle Zurbrigg, New Hamburg; and one brother, Dr. D. Anton Zurbrigg of Philadelphia, Pa.; eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Mr. Zurbrigg was predeceased by his wife, the former Sadie Lacey in 1947; a son, D'arcy, a pilot with the RCAF in 1943, and a daughter, Mrs. Lorne (Jean) Roth of Exeter, in 1964. The funeral service was held Saturday at Logan Funeral Home, London, with Rev. Dr. Water officiating. Burial was in Mount Pleasant cemetery, London.
