- BUCHAN, James Cameron
At the Cambridge Memorial Hospital, on Monday, March 11, 1996, in his 65th year after a lengthy battle with cancer. Loving husband of Ann (nee Ballantyne), dear father of Elizabeth and her husband Dr. James Hare of Brandon, Manitoba, Alison and her husband David Nuttall of London, Ontario and Cameron Buchan and his wife Carrie of Guelph, Ontario. Loving grandfather of Alexander and Colleen Hare. He will be missed by his brother, Alistair Buchan and his wife Patricia of Victoria, B.C. Jim is also lovingly remembered by many other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, James and Angus Buchan of Victoria BC. He was a teacher for the Galt and Waterloo County Boards of Education, from 1957, until his retirement in 1988. At that time he was of the Art Department, at Galt head his Collegiate Institute. The family will receive friends at COUTTS & Sons FUNERAL HOME, 96 St. Andrews St., Cambridge, on Tuesday, March 12th, from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m., the Funeral Service will be conducted at Wesley United Church, 6 Cambridge St., Cambridge, on Wednesday, March 13, 1996, at 1 p.m., with Rev. Christian Kraatz officiating. Interment will be at Parklawn Cemetery, Cambridge.
