      PRESTON, One of Preston's best-known citizens, John Anthony (Curly) McKenna, 743 King St., died yesterday, of a heart attack. He was born 70 years ago at Coburg, but had lived here for 50 years. He was employed for the last 15 months, at the South Waterloo Memorial Hospital. Mr. McKenna was active in all sports activities until recently and as a younger man was a member of hockey, curling and baseball clubs. He attended St. Clement's Church, was member of the Holy Name Society and recently was presented with the Knights of Columbus, 25-year pin. He was a life member of the Galt council K of C. He held an honorary card in the moulder's union, was employed by Clare Bros. and Company, Ltd., for 20 years and had been physio-therapist at the Kress Hotel for 28 years. Survivors include his wife, the former Laura Seip, a son, Douglas and a daughter, Mrs. W. (Marjorie) Jaglowitz, both of Preston. There are eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild, The body will be at the Stager-Pass funeral home, until Friday morning, when requiem mass, will be celebrated at St (Clements Church) at 9 a.m.
