At the Cambridge Memorial Hospital, on Monday, April 1st, 1991, in his 75th year, a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #121, the Galt Lions Club and the Highland Light Infantry Association, served during the Second World War and in Korea with the Royal Canadian Army and the Highland Light Infantry and was a retired employee of Babcock and Wilcox. Beloved husband of Rosalind (Rose), beloved father of Michael Morse and his wife Jean of Paris, Val Morse and her husband James Gordon of Guelph, Douglas Morse of Whistler, B.C. and Barry Rhodes of Oakville. Beloved "Poppa" of Jamey Morse, Evan, and Geordie Gordon. Dear brother of Mr. and Mrs. Stan Rhodes of Hamilton and Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd White of Florida, dear brother-in-law of Dorothy Sumsion of Paris. Predeceased by brothers, Charles, Ted, and Cecil and a sister, Edna Ellis. Mr. Rhodes is resting at COUTTS & SON FUNERAL HOME, 96 St. Andrews Street, Cambridge, where the family will receive friends, Wednesday, 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. Funeral Service in the Funeral Home Chapel, on Thursday, at 1: 30 p.m., with Reverend Robert Fretwell officiating. Interment, Mount View Cemetery.
