  SCHWEITZER, Laoma Loretta Peacefully, at K-W Hospital, on Wednesday, Dec. 4, 1991, following a brief illness, Laoma Schweitzer (Haas), of 35 Bridge St. W., Kitchener, age 88 years. Laoma was a lifelong member and was very active at Bridgeport United Church. She was a member of the UCW of the church, Women's Christian Temperance Union and the Waterloo Horticultural Society. She was also a longtime employee of Mutual Life Assurance Company, for 48 years before retirement and was a member of their Long Service Club and Third Tuesday Club. Loving sister of Reta and her husband Wilfrid Roedding of Kitchener; dear aunt of Carol and her husband Rev. William Wilkinson of Waterloo. Sadly missed by Peter and Anna Wilkinson and their children, Brian and Lisa, John and Carolyn Wilkinson and their children, David and Michael, Mark Wilkinson, Wendy and Jim Thibodeau. She was predeceased by her parents, Irvin Haas and the former Sophia Martz and by her husband, Leland Schweitzer in 1987. Friends may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 821 King St. W., Kitchener, on Thursday from 7-9 p.m. and Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be hold at Bridgeport United Church on Saturday at 2: 30 p.m., with Rev.
