  Lawrence Cuthbertson Passes The death occurred suddenly at his home in Toronto on Friday of L. Lawrence Cuthbertson, 70. The only son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Dale Cuthbertson, he was born in Aylmer. The family also lived in Ayr and Paris before going to Toronto some 55 years ago, where Lawrence conducted a plumbing business for many years. Surviving, besides his wife, the former Ethel Smith, are a son, Howard, and two sisters, Mrs. Walter (Helen) Chilman of Toronto and Mrs. Norman (Kathleen) Spradbrow, Baltimore, Md. Hugh and Bert Melvin, Ayr, are cousins. Following service at the "St. Clair Chapel" of McDougall and Brown Ltd., Toronto, on Monday morning, entombment was made at Ayr Cemetery Chapel in the afternoon. Committal service was conducted by Rev. A. M. Manson of Willis United Church, Drumbo. The Ayr News Feb 1 1962
