  HAWES, Lloyd Norman - At Cambridge Memorial Hospital, on Tuesday, March 20, 2001, in his 71st year. Lloyd Hawes, of Cambridge, was the beloved husband of Donna Hawes (nee Graham). Dear father of Ron of Cambridge and Greg and his wife Janet of Ayr; loved grandfather of Joshua and Robyn; dear brother of Doreen Mast of Ayr; his twin brother, Floyd (Joan) and Gerrie (Eleanor) all of Cambridge. He was predeceased by one sister, Helen Altimore and his parents, Eph and Eva Hawes. Mr. Hawes retired from Newlands Textile after 44 years of service. Friends will be received at Coutts & Son Funeral Home, 96 St. Andrew's St., Cambridge, on Thursday (this evening) from 7-9 p.m. and on Friday, March 23, 2001 from 1 p.m. until the funeral service time of 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment to follow in Mount View Cemetery. The Hawes family wish to express their sincere appreciation to the doctors and nurses at the CMH Medical Day Care and to Heather from ParaMed. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the CMH Medical Day Care.
