  POTVIN, Marc Richard - It is with great sadness and extreme regret that the Potvin Family announces the sudden passing of Marc Richard Potvin, age 38, also fondly known as Potsie and Herm by all who had the pleasure of knowing him, and Joe as known by his brothers and sisters. Marc leaves behind two beautiful children, Dianne Hannah (age 9) and Justin Marc (age 4) and his loving wife of 13 years, Maria (Dechiara) Potvin. Marc was predeceased by his mother, Dianne Hannah Potvin. He leaves behind his beloved parents, Richard and Maureen; siblings, Maureen Potvin, Colleen and Kim Gammy, Natalie and Mike Stuebing, Gord and Kim Brownrigg. Uncle Marc will be greatly missed by his loving nieces and nephews in Canada, Jennifer, Kyle, Zachary, Matthew, Cory, Casey, Keri, Ryan and Laura. He was also loved dearly and cherished by his Granny Potvin. In North Canton, Ohio ... Marc leaves behind his in-laws, Carl and Mary Dechiara (he was a son to them both) and Maria's siblings, Tony and Marti Dechiara, Carl and Kathy Dechiara, and Anna and Jack Sutton. Nieces and nephews, Michael, Natalie, Renee, John and Maria will always cherish their fond memories as well. We wish to express our sincere gratitude for all of those whose lives have been touched by Marc through sport, family and friendship and we are grateful for your friendships, support and condolences. May his spirit forever be kept alive in your hearts and minds. The family will receive friends at the Westmount Funeral Chapel, 1001 Ottawa Street South, Kitchener, 743-8900 on Thursday, January 19th from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. with the Funeral Service to follow in the Chapel at 3 p.m. followed by cremation. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the trust fund of Dianne and Justin Potvin would be greatly appreciated by Marc's family.
