  MARIE OLGA HACKBART 1921 - 2006 - Passed away peacefully, at Freeport Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, on Sunday, April 30, 2006. Marie is survived by her sister, Margaret (Joseph) Brown; brother, Herbert (Verna) Hackbart; as well as nieces and nephews, Larry (Maureen) Hackbart, Dennis (Esther) Harrett, Mary Anne (Robin) Evans, Richard (Patricia) Harrett, Murray Hackbart, Joyce (Wayne) Gerber, Marlene (Paul) Ming, Joan (Neil) Gray; her dear friends, Nellie and Ronnie and many cousins, great-nieces and great-nephews. Predeceased by her parents, Albert and Mary Anne (nee Zinkann) Hackbart; brothers, Carl, Alfred and Kenneth Hackbart; sister, Frieda Harrett; nephew, Michael Brown and friend Florence. Marie worked most of her life at J.M. Schneider until her retirement. She was an independent woman who traveled extensively throughout the world. Friends are invited to a service in celebration of Marie's life in the Chapel of the Edward R. Good Funeral Home, 171 King Street South, Waterloo on Thursday May 4, 2006 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Harold Brill officiating. Interment will follow in Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo.
