      SCHMIDT, Sister Mary Cecile (Catherine), SSND - Died at Notre Dame Convent, Waterdown, Ontario, on November 17, 2005, in her 67th year as a School Sister of Notre Dame. Predeceased by her parents Michael Schmidt and Cecilia (née Keller) and her sister, Antoinette and brothers, Clarence, Urban and Jerome. Lovingly remembered by her sisters in community and devoted nieces and nephews. Sister Mary Cecile had a long and successful career as a music teacher, teaching piano and theory to students in Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge (Preston), Hamilton, Oakville and Waterdown. Also, she was church organist and choir director at St. Louis, Waterloo, St. Clements, Cambridge and St. Mary's, Kitchener. With great enthusiasm she shared her gift of music with others inspiring them with an appreciation for music. Due to ill health she moved to Notre Dame Convent, Waterdown in 1985. Visitors will be received at Notre Dame Convent, Waterdown, on Saturday, November 19 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. and Sunday, November 20, 2005 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A Prayer Service will be held on Sunday at 3:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Monday, November 21, at 10:30 a.m. Interment at Notre Dame Convent Cemetery.
