      PRESTON, March 26\emdash Mary M. Wood, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Wood, Kress Hill, died at her home yesterday. She had been ailing for some years. Born at Glenallen, the late Miss Wood came to Preston 56 years ago from Winterbourne and since has been a resident of Preston. She was an original member of Knox Presbyterian church and had been an active worker on its behalf. Surviving are two sisters, Miss Jessie Wood at home and Mrs. D. W. Elsley of Hamilton and one brother, William of Laverne, California. The funeral will be held Monday afternoon at 2.30 o'clock from the residence on Kress Hill after which Interment will be made in Preston Cemetery.
