  AMY, Olive (nee Krueger) - Passed away, peacefully, with her family by her side, on Friday, April 21, 2006, at Freeport Health Center of Grand River Hospital, in her 86th year, after a brief illness. Beloved wife of Reginald Amy for almost 60 years. Loving mother of John Amy and his wife Ingrid of Mississauga. Dear grandmother of Kristen and Matthew. Survived by her brothers-in-law, Bruce (Eleanor), Bill (Flo), Paul (Marion), Don (Jean), Ron (Bettyan); sisters-in-law, Irene, Betty Krueger, Joan Woods (Bruce), Mary Strome and her husband Glen. Olive is also survived by her niece, Joan Murphy. Predeceased by her brothers, Irvin, Carl, Homer and sisters, Violet, Myrtle, and Doris. Ollie will always be fondly remembered by her family and friends for her kindness and her loving smile.The Amy family will receive relatives and friends at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, (507 Frederick St., Kit. 749-8467) on Monday, April 24 (this evening) from 7-9 p.m. and on Tuesday, April 25 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Olive's funeral will take place at St. James Rosemount United Church, 171 Sherwood Ave., Kitchener, on Wednesday, April 26, 2006 at 11 a.m. Interment at Parkview Cemetery followed by a luncheon in the church hall. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home). Visit www.obit411.com/2020 for Olive's memorial.
