    • An Act for the relief of Orwell Bishop Walton.

      [Assented to 80th May, 1930]

      WHEREAS Orwell Bishop Walton, domiciled in Canada Preamble, and residing at the city of Montreal, in the province of Quebec, mortician, has by his petition alleged that on the thirtieth day of October, A.D. 1924, at the town of Waterloo, in the province of Ontario, he and Florence Adele Schreiter, who was then of the city of Kitchener, in the said province of Ontario, a spinster, were married; and whereas by his petition he has prayed that, because of her adultery since then, their marriage be dissolved; and whereas the said marriage and adultery have been proved by evidence adduced and it is expedient that the prayer of his petition be granted: Therefore His Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Senate and House of Commons of Canada, enacts as follows: -

      1. The said marriage between Orwell Bishop Walton Marriage and Florence Adele Schreiter, his wife, is hereby dissolved, diesolved - and shall be henceforth null and void to all intents and purposes whatsoever.

      2. The said Orwell Bishop Walton may at any time Right to hereafter marry any woman whom he might lawfully marry marry again ' if the said marriage with the said Florence Adele Schreiter had not been solemnized.

      Begun and holden at Ottawa, on the Twentieth day of February, 1930, and closed by
      Prorogation on the Thirtieth day of May, 1930

      On 20 July 1931, in Montreal, Orwell Bishop "O.B." Walton (1899 - 28 March 1970; Montreal) was married to Simone Marie Fabiola Anita Girouard (15 April 1905; Montreal - 21 Sept 1991; Montreal).

      They had two children: Mildred "Diana" Walton (15 April 1933; Montreal - 09 February 1952; Stafford Springs, Connecticut) and William Orwell Walton (05 March 1936; Montreal - 21 August 2016; Montreal).

      After a long illness at his residence on Saturday, March 28th, 1970, in his 71st year, beloved husband of Simone Giouard, dear father of William and the late Diana; grandfather of Diana, Robert and Caroline. Funeral from the William Wray & Walton Chapel, 2075 University Ave., on Wednesday, April 1st at 11 a.m. to Mount Royal Crematorium.

Resting at the William Wray Chapel, 2075 University St. Funeral from the First Presbyterian Church, Jeanne-Mance and Prince Arthur St. on Wed., February 13th, at 2 p.m., to Mount Royal Cemetery.

      WALTON, William O. 1936-2016


      William Orwell Walton passed away at the age of 80, in Montreal, on August 21, 2016. He leaves to mourn his wife Michële Olivier, his children Diana (Philippe), Robert (Gaby), Caroline (Carlo) and Jérôme (Louise); his grandchildren Emiliane, Livia and Luca. The family will receive condolences on Saturday, August 27, 2016 from 2 to 5 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m. as well as on Sunday, August 28, 2016 from 10 to 11 a.m. The funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. in the chapel of the funeral home.
