      Oscar Stillmark of RR 1, Bamberg, died on Friday of last week at St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener, at the age of 72.

      He was born in Latvia, May 14, 1897 a son of the late Mr and Mrs Oscar Stillmark.

      He had farmed in Europe from 1919 to 1945 and has been retired since 1953 when he came in Canada.

      He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Wellesley Township.

      Surviving are his wife, the former Kate Teich, whom he married in East Germany July 11, 1920; two daughters, Mrs. Fred (Renate) Heyking of RR 1, Bamberg, and Mrs Rolp (Karin) Heyking of London and 11 grandchildren

      He was predeceased by one son, one brother and one sister
