  SIMMERS, P. Jackes Passed away, on Friday, Dec. 7, 1984, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, Jackes Simmers, of 202 Hespeler Rd., Cambridge, in his 77th year. Beloved husband of Florence Wright and dear brother of Victor of Florida, Joseph of Grimsby and Otto of Peterborough, Charlotte (Mrs. Frederick Laughlin) of Waterloo. Mr. Simmers was predeceased by a brother, Rupert. Mr. Simmers was born in Toronto on February 2, 1908 and was the founder of Simmers, Harper and Jenkins, Law Firm; member of Trinity Anglican Church, Cambridge, member of the Galt Kiwanis, Galt Country Club; was a Mason and Shriner and was the First CO of Air Cadets Squadron 296. A memorial service will be held at Trinity Anglican Church, Cambridge, this evening, Monday, Dec. 10, at 7: 30 p.m. Kitchener-Waterloo Record 10 Dec 1984 pg D11
