      Of Homuth Avenue, Cambridge, on Monday, June 21, 1999, surrounded by his family, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, in his 61st year, after a brief battle with cancer. Beloved husband of Florence Ward for 32 years. Dearly loved father of Brenda and her husband Chistopher Isley and Valerie and her husband David Scherer, all of Cambridge. Lovingly remembered by two granddaughters, Clara and Morgan Isley and one sister, Sandra and her husband Robert Coldham of Washington, Ont. Predeceased by his parents, Richard and Violet Richardson. Mr. Richardson was born in Galt and was a lifelong resident of the area. He was a 28 year veteran of the Preston and Waterloo Regional Police Force, retiring in October 1994, a founding member of the Waterloo Regional Police Male Chorus and their Sgt.-At-Arms. It was with this group of friends that he enjoyed many years of good times and music. He was a member of St. John's Anglican Church and the Preston Scout House Band Alumni. He will always be remembered as an avid fisherman. The family will receive friends at the Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Rd., Cambridge, today (Wednesday) from 7-9 p.m. and Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be conducted at St. John's Anglican Church, 567 Queenston Rd., Cambridge, on Friday, June 25, 1999, at 1 p.m., with Canon David Bowyer officiating. Interment in Park Lawn Cemetery, Cambridge.
