    • Dr. Robert Todd Reynolds graduated from McGill in Medicine and Surgery - an MD degree - in 1836. (McGill had awarded Canada's first MD degree in 1833.) His father was Robert Reynolds, deputy commissary at Fort Malden, Essex Co., Ontario. His mother Theresa Bouchette Desrivieres was widow of the stepson of James McGill of McGill University.
