  WATERS, Roy Edwin Peacefully passed away on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at Heritage House, St. Jacobs, in his 93rd year. Dear husband of the late Verna (Horst) Waters (1998). Devoted father of John (Nina) of Ottawa. Brother of Betty Thompson and the late Reg. Roy will be missed by his many nieces and nephews and their families. Predeceased by his parents William and Gertrude (Winter) Waters, and brothers Arthur and William. A decorated veteran of WWII, he returned to Canada after his tour and became an engineer at Ontario Hydro. He enjoyed a wonderful life of travel and family. He will be greatly missed by friends, co-workers and family. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
