  MacGREGOR, Bill - Mr. William Logan MacGregor, 85, of Kitchener and formerly of Mitchell passed away at his residence on Saturday, June 20, 2009. Beloved husband of the late Cora (Widdicombe) MacGregor (2007). Dear father of Bill MacGregor and wife Sharon of Kitchener and Deanna Marchione and husband Jeff Wirz of Colgan; loving grandfather of Tiffany (Andrew), Bill (Lindsay) and Scott, Natalie (Cameron), Katherine (James) and John. Proud great-grandfather of David Logan. Dear brother of Gordon (Irene) MacGregor of St. Catharines. Dear brother-in-law of Lee (Andy) Widdicombe of Stratford. Also surviving are a number of nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, William and Ruth (Logan) MacGregor. Bill was a Second World War Veteran fighter pilot, R.C.A.F. 126 Squadron and Royal Navy 808 Squadron. He was a graduate of the University of Toronto in 1951 and later became the Chief Metallurgical Engineer at SPAR Aerospace (Gear and Transmission Division) from 1963 until 1988. Friends will be received at the Lockhart Funeral Home , 109 Montreal St., Mitchell on Monday, June 22, 2009 (today) 7-9 p.m. and on Tuesday from 9: 30 a.m. until time of funeral service at 10: 30 a.m. Interment in Knox Presbyterian Cemetery, Mitchell.
