  BEERS, Wilmot A. (Bill) At Cambridge Memorial Hospital, on Friday, July 7, 1989, in his 64th year. Beloved husband of Carol Welch. Predeceased by a daughter, Linda Cooper. Surviving are two grandchildren, Cindy and Jolene Cooper; one brother, Garfield Welch and his wife Margaret of Sudbury; one sister, Kay (Mrs. Fred Beaulieu) of Val Therese, Ont. Mr. Beers was born in Torrance. Ont. and came to Cambridge, in 1948 from Gravenhurst. Retired from Kralinator Filters of Cambridge. Veteran of the Second World War, serving overseas for the Canadian Army. Member of the Preston Royal Canadian Legion, Branch No. 126. Friends will be received at the Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Rd., Cambridge, Sunday, 7-9 p.m. A private family funeral service will be held Monday. Cremation to follow.
