COPPES, Theodore

Passed away, on Sunday, May 16, 1993, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, Ted Coppes, formerly of Marian Residence, Cambridge, in his 82nd year. Beloved husband of the late Elizabeth Coppes. Dear father of Henk and his wife Kathy of Cambridge, Ernie and his wife Doris of Nova Scotia, John and his wife Gloria and Bill and his wife Gail, both of Cambridge. Also survived by 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by two brothers. Mr. Coppes, was born in Venlo, Holland, on July 29, 1911 and had been a resident of Cambridge, since 1953. He was a member of the Holland Canada Club. Friends will be received at Coutts and Son Funeral Home, 96 St. Andrews St., Cambridge, on Tuesday, from 2-4 and 7-9 p m. The rosary will be recited in the funeral home Chapel, on Tuesday, at 8 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial, will be celebrated at St Clements RC Church, Duke Street, Cambridge, on Wednesday, May 19, at 11 a.m., Father Jiri Macenauer celebrant. Interment Mount View Cemetery, Cambridge.
