  MORDECZKO, Jozet (Joe) Of Hamilton Street, Cambridge, on Tuesday, Dec. 19, 2000, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, in his 83rd year. Beloved husband of the late Helen Kwiecien (1977). Lovingly remembered by his son, John and his wife Claudette and their daughter, Helene; his daughters, Donna Ray and her daughter, Amanda, all of Cambridge and Jo-Ann Mordeczko and her family of Waterloo. Survived by his sister-in-law, Winnie Noll and her husband Ron of Elmira; his brother-in-law, Felix Kwiecien and his wife Ann of Mississauga and brothers and sisters in Poland. Sadly missed by his nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents and two brothers in Poland. Mr. Mordeczko was born in Poland and emmigrated to Canada in 1945. He had been a longtime resident of Cambridge. He was retired for the past 17 years from Eastern Steel, Frink Canada, a veteran of the Second World War, serving with the Polish Army, a member of St. Clement's RC Church, the Royal Canadian Legion Polish Branch 412, Kitchener, the Polish Club of Cambridge and a former active member of the Polish Legion Colour Party. The family will receive friends at the Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Rd., Cambridge on Thursday, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, Dec. 22, 2000, at St. Clement's RC Church, 745 Duke St., Cambridge, at 10 a.m. Interment in Park Lawn Cemetery, Cambridge.
