    • SZASZ, Charles Theodore (Chuck) - Passed away, peacefully, with his wife and family by his side, on Sunday, March 26, 2006, at St. Mary's Hospital, at the age of 81. Beloved husband of Eileen (nee Straus) Szasz for 56 years. Loving father of Brenda Szasz, Kitchener, Randy and his wife Diane of Calgary, Robert and Pam of Kitchener. Dear Poppy to Colin, Bryan, Alexandra and Leila. Chuck is also survived by his brother William Szasz and his wife Beatrice of Kitchener. Predeceased by his brother, Joseph and parents, Alex and Mary Szasz. Chuck was a Second World War Veteran, serving with the Calgary Highlanders and was wounded in Holland. He was a mechanic with Boehmers for over 30 years and enjoyed helping his neighbours and friends as a retired mechanic. Chuck valued being a member of the Crooked Lake Hunt Camp. Chuck's family will receive relatives and friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., 749-8467. Parish prayers 7: 30 p.m. Wednesday evening. Prayers will be offered in the funeral home chapel at 9: 30 a.m. Thursday, March 30, 2006 followed by procession to Sacred Heart RC Church, (66 Shanley St., Kitchener) for Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Interment Mount Hope Cemetery, Kitchener followed by a reception in the church hall. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Sacred Heart Church or the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
