"Signaller. Enlisted with 67 th Battery at Guelph in March 1918 and transferred to 5th Heavy Battery in England. He was born in England and came to Canada at the age of twelve. He received his collegiate education in the Winnipeg Collegiate Institute. For a year before enlisting he has been living in Kitchener with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Hamblin, and was with his father who is Secretary Treasurer of The Metcalfe Candy Company. He is now serving in the Paymaster's Branch.
