Simmers, George Edward Private.

Enlisted early in the war with 29th Highland Light Infantry Battalion of Galt. He was killed in action at Givenchy on June 15, 1915. He went overseas with the 1st Battalion, 1st Division, 1st Contingent. His mother is Mrs. Emma Simmers of Preston. Anglican.
