| Caption | Going on we come to Beck Street where the Beck family lived; Frederick Beck and his wife Barbara, the oldest son was Jacob father of Sir. Adam Beck. After Jacob Beck left Doon and Frederick and his wife died, their son Frederick lived there, with his wife Emily Lawson; They had the following children, John born May 27, 1845; Jacob born October 3, 1347, Charles born Feb. 15, 1850, finialy born Dec. 23, 1857, Elizabeth born May 1, i860 and Margaret born Aug. 27, 1854- Elizabeth did not marry and she lived alone in this house until her 85th year Thia house was a small log house, framed over, Iti was built on the slope of the hill.
